This Aleppo Pine tree at the Australian War Memorial Garden was grown from a pine cone that was collected during the Battle of Lone Pine at Gallipoli, during the first wold war. The sapling was planted in 1934 before the memorial building was completed.
The engraving was made using a unique fine art printmaking technique to produce limited editions from an inked, then hand-engraved clayboard surface.
The inks used are archival and lightfast, the paper is a heavy 100% cotton rag fibre, archival and acid free.
Each print is hand-signed, numbered & titled in pencil and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity & Provenance.
The engraving is printed to order, please allow up to 10 days before shipping.
